astrology- the most beautiful psychological analysis tool

The big question that i hear from most of my intellectual friends is:
is astrology a true science?
or is it a crookedly made pseudo science to exploit people?

the general answer i give is:

i know atleast 100 well educated people who were on the verge of suicide, and it is astrology which played a major role in giving them hope and thus averting the last resort.

these people were well educated, sensible people who lost all their hope because of some serious issues which cropped up in their lives, which they couldn't solve by their own/their first circle's logic.

now, how did i give them hope?
i am not a miracle worker or a saint to be able to change their attitude so quickly.
i just used the laws of this science to gain their confidence, by correctly assessing a few aspects of their lives.
then they start to believe, for we are looking desperately for hope.
for something/anything to hang on to.

do you think, i can cheat these educated people by their horoscope assessment and gain their confidence?

astrology can be surely used for personality assessment and strengthening, if not for any other purpose. say, much better than any Jungian or Freudean methods.

its one of the most beautiful tools available for mankind to help oneself to evolve better.
now, you want to call it pseudo?!

MY TRUTH

as a pursuer of science,
i always doubted..reasoned..found my answer..realized later that there could be a 'better truth'..searched again..felt the agony of being lost..felt bitter..

through the process, i have not lost my confidence in science, but strangely, i have always felt happy that i am in this track.

now i see something..
the power which created is beyond definitions.
u just need to revel in it.
in ur being here.

there is no other truth.

ramana maharshi horoscope analysed

11) Ramana MAHARSHI

Sri Ramana Maharshi (December 30, 1879 – April 14, 1950) was a Hindu Sage. He primarily advocated Self-enquiry (Atma-Vichara) to attain spiritual realization.

"Here in India, where thousands of so-called holy men claim close tune with the infinite, it is said that the most remarkable thing about Ramana Maharshi was that he never claimed anything remarkable for himself, yet became one of the most loved and respected of all."

Sri Ramana was distinguished for silence and sparse use of speech. He led a modest, open life and depended on visitors and devotees for the barest necessities. His disciples established an Ashram (Sri Ramanashramam) in Tiruvannamalai to propagate his message.

Education:

4th lord, Guru is in 6th in vargottama. 4th occupied by 12th lord Surya who has swakshetramsa and Rahu indicating very afflicted 4th house giving minimal formal education.

Mind:

The Manokaraka, Chandra is vargottama in 10th fully aspected by Surya, the 12th lord. Though krishnapaksha, this Chandra is still powerful as it is only dwiteeya. Chandra is in yogam with Ketu, again indicating love of mysticism.

Knowledge:

2nd lord Sukra is in 3rd house along with lagna lord Budha. Its fully aspected by the 3rd lord Kuja who also happens to be the 8th lord (death and silence). 2nd house is aspected by Vargottama Guru indicating Spiritual knowledge.

Karma:

10th lord Budha is in 3rd house(8th of 8th) along with the 9th lord Sukra aspected by Kuja from the 8th. (Dharma-Karmadhipa yoga in the death of death house (3rd), aspected by Kuja from 8th , death!)

Bhagya:

9th lord Sukra in 3rd along with lagna lord Budha, with amsa in 11th . The significant point is 9th lord and lagna lord aspecting 9th house.

Wisdom:

5th lord Sani in 7th, gets the special yoga of trikona lord in Kendra. Also note the parivartanam of Sani and Guru which is one of the greatest strengths of this nativity. You must be aware that Maharshi was one of the most modest and silent Gurus India has ever produced.

Summary:

The maharshi who held so much of wisdom within the silence between his words immensely benefited from his 5th lord, supported well by the 9th and 10th lords. The predominance of 8th (death) and 3rd (death of death) houses is very significant. The Gnana karaka, Guru too benefited from its vargottama position to help in his effortless effort for wisdom.

siddha

Sometime, someone felt like saying something, to someone.
A prediction.
And, it came true.
A few more truths, which were of course remembered, and the man was proclaimed a Sidha.
For the first few days, he wondered how he managed to get all those right.
But as his stature grew, he had no time and mind frame to think about this.
He felt only one thing. He had some extra-ordinary powers.
As if to justify his stature, the sidha started learning astrology and sastras in private.
And he really put an effort into it.
Sidha was happy. Sidha started to be the most important divyan of the place.

Time passed. Sidha started to feel that few of his predictions were tending to go wrong.
He started to become lesser direct in his answers and took to philosophy as a cover.
Sidha’s strategy worked better. Now he was treated more Godly than ever.

Years passed. Sidha became 70 plus old.
Then came a writer with the idea of writing his biography.
Sidha tried to think for the first time, did I really learn anything? know anything?
How have I used my powers, if at all I had any?
Sidha, locked himself up in his room.
Disciples started to say that he is exploring a a new method in meditation.
When he didn’t come out for a pretty long time, they forced the door open, to find him too still.
The writer too came to see the great sidha for one last time.
She mused, "do I see a resolve on his lips?
A desire to get away from the stuck track?. A desire to come back?  to start fresh? to learn?

she scribbled in her diary:
*Sometimes, powers do act through you. even when you are semi-tuned that way..
But when you start thinking that you are the power..the power that is bestowed loses its power..to be of any real good.
Lucky are the ones who get a chance to stay alert and fine tune the medium..."
